UA6_INDIVIDUAL_TASK_ANASTASIA_MARECHAL
In situ workers' building
At this point of the exercice, I want to continue the discusion about the bamboo structure scalfolding in terms of life-structure. This induvial task is a conversation about how a non-live structure in bamboo can turns on a beehive of life. Thanks to this video, I show the process of colinization of a dead space.
The idea of changing materials is nice and I like the soundes effects :)
ResponderEliminarnice test about estructural movement and its behaviour
ResponderEliminarnice vintage video ...
ResponderEliminarI like how It plays with densities, and how they create different spaces, shapes and lights, good good Anastasia!!
ResponderEliminarNice experiment with bamboo, we understand how it can change spaces and sensations
ResponderEliminarNice handmade work, i like how yoy played with light and textures.
ResponderEliminarI like the way you use the material . The second part is really powerful!
ResponderEliminarI love the audio part and the concept behind the model, but I think it can be developed in a more detailed way, maybe by refering to construction solutions
ResponderEliminarActually it is very cool idea on how to experiment and get different forms and shapes of the architecture!
ResponderEliminarI like how you turn material into something alive and flexible! Also the construction and footages are really nice!
ResponderEliminarDifferent stages, different models... you have made a good experiment, now I want to see you applying this to your radical city.
ResponderEliminarHow is it going to be(structures)? Are these structures going to be the architecture or maybe part of the architecture?
Thank you!
It is good how you have explored the perception of the structure. The audio helped a lot with this. How do you invision these structures in Dubai? Your structure reminds me of the nests built by reed warbler birds, suspended between reed poles.
ResponderEliminarI like how you have used sound along with the different materials to show the narrative of the project. You have also been able to use real bamboo!
ResponderEliminarI found interesting your proposal but I have some questions. If this is a non-living structure, how is it suposed to be growing? Is this structure building itself?
ResponderEliminarBuilders in China use bamboo for scaffolding because it is strong and grow very fast.
ResponderEliminarThe model is so great and the use of material as well. The video editing and the audio makes it a very cohesive project!
ResponderEliminarI like the way you play with the materials and the different densities is very interesting
ResponderEliminarGood job! You work so good, i liked your video, materials, sound. Good experiment and good job!
