In any case of disaster (natural, made by humans, war etc.) the city would be able to go up. If there will be any warning that the system, the network or the connection could broke or there will be any virus or emergency state the city would go into “alert state” go up and change into self-sufficient, flexible system that can easily adapt to the new situation and environment.

We live in a world where everything can change in a minute, we need to be prepared for the worst. In an emergency, the need of isolation of a city is probable. This city is based on this principle, giving the city the opportunity to separate from the rest if needed, but without destroying the principals of what makes a city great. The mechanism of the lifting of the city will be made with the use of the heat of the desert in Dubai, we know hot air rises, and that heat is energy, helping us in this way lift the city, also using the sun to provide energy to the city. Its time to change the way we are making cities, times are changing and we need to act fast.
