     The No-Ego City is built with the intent to improve the quality of life in Dubai. So, considering all the subjective lives and views of the inhabitants, the city transforms, merges and modifies its values, as every individual projects his own subconscious towards it. To bridge the gap between their different realities, we imagined a grid that uses the water as a separation medium between the new and the old, the personal and the common, the real and the fantasy.

     The No-Ego City embodies new principles of living: movement in all directions, poetic complexity of language, non-linear time flow, unified and strong communities, shared spaces.

     A cluster of cubic modules creates endless possibilities of change and we say the city “restarts” every now and then. The goal will have to be to reduce the ego of the inhabitant to pure human behavior and start a journey that will pass from window to window to window to window to window.
