Dubai is a city surrounded by desert and sea, and city that has wanted to dominate them. That's why the proposal is a project where the city could change completely by creating new architecture taking advantage of the resources of the environment. A new achitecture born from the nature, from sea water and the salt that it contains. It opens up a big range of possibilities. For this new city only some specific gadgets are needed in order to bring sea water to the city, and then this salt contained in the water creates beatiful second facades in buildings, and also corridors to solve the problem of high temperatures and difficult livability in the streets in summer, for example. The result is a new and radical salt city.
In conclusion, it is possible that the NEW city of Dubai is created by adapting to the environment and its existing resources, and not attempting to dominate it.
