THE POWER OF COLOURS

Every colour has an impact on our emotions and it affects individually. Every single person reacts differently according to their situation, context, previus experiences, etc...

With this experiment we want to understand how the connection between colours and emotions work. We have add some sounds to specific colours in order to check if the colour we are watching is linked to the feeling that the music evokes.

Living in the Contained City

With sea levels predicted to rise, what will the future of living be like? How does the programatic layout vary between buildings built on earth and ships at sea? By contrasting the two largest examples of each type, cities within themsleves, we can start to understand how life will vary when flooding occurs. Note, the upper most classes near the base of the Burj Khalifa, and the mixing of program throughout all levels of both types. The resources as the top of the Burj Khalifa will increasingly become available to all as sea levels rise, mixing classes of all people.

Our team's last radical city suggested go underground to avoid rising seas due to global warming or just carry on who still live in 60m high.

In this connection between architecture and action, we tried to define the behavior of climbing. we first thought about what it is to climb, and it is against the natural force of gravity. Because people thought fighting invisible forces and overcoming them was power, we thought the history of architecture had developed with a desire to climb high.

Since the discovery of oil in Dubai, oil has meant power to mankind, so they wanted to climb higher than anyone else. Now they are higher than anyone. But in the radical cities we thought, the people who can live on the ground will be very limited, so the people of the lower classes who will live underground will want to climb up more than anyone else. But it would be those who are already at the end of power who are looking at them climbing up. They can catch people climbing up, or they can drop them.
