Our last radical city has dealt with Dubai, where people will live when the sea level rises due to global warming. If our radical cities focused on a world that would change, our actions focused on those who would live in a changed world.

The first action we chose was CLIMB. CLIMB is an act contrary to gravity, and climbing high can be interpreted as having that much power. For the poor who will live in our radical cities under the sea level, "climbing up" would be an act of dreaming of a better world. They want to live in a better world above sea level with all their might. Climbing up to the middle class they dream of is less difficult than the climb that the poor will feel, but they have a wall that they cannot climb up to the upper level.

Imagine opening a book. There is a realistic gap in the middle of the book. This is not a square drawn on a cartoon page, but a part of reality that cannot pass. We wanted to set this reality part as the folding part, to express that the middle classes have a realistic gap that cannot be passed by the upper class.

Moving on, upper classes enjoy 'CLIMB' as a play. For someone, CLIMB is just a play for them, if it's a life-risking struggle to move forward from reality. Bungee jumping, which is being done by the top class, is part of the most dramatic expression that "CLIMB" is just a tool for fun.
